Are "they" really out of business? I feel still models coming into market. By far not the best quality .....

Yes....from what I understand they went out of business about 20 yrs ago. I got that information from the last president of the company's son. But yes you may still see models come to market as I have. I have been very fortunate to be able to purchase models that have never been out of their box or on display before. I have been searching for some of their catalogs but no luck. I did get lucky and find someone who had many in a warehouse and purchased all they had but haven't found anymore new in the box in a while.

I have never seen these painted models with solid canopy before. Either the models were painted and then they had a clear plastic canopy, or polished with solid.

Also they all look very new.

Chris,

They are not new, but went through a very thorough cleaning with some minor touch up work done. The IDF was yellow when I got it from nicotine and I had to spray a mild bleach solution on it to get it back white again. The AT-3 still has some yellow to it and may never be white again.

Here is an all aluminum Hawker Hunter, it was originally painted but so badly mistreated over the years there was no choice but to strip it. I may repaint if I can find the right paint and decals.
