A big plastic B-36

These two I found in France. i was told they were made for candy packaging, as the nose comes off easily.

They have a wing span of over a foot. Never seen any since and was very surprised they survived, all wheels and props intact. I have moved my collection 4 times since I acquired them in the early 1980s.






At the other extreme, there is a B-36 in this set, too.

They look to be nicely-proportioned models. There were lots of plastic toy makers whose names are unfamiliar. One has to look at web sites closely to find them. They made miniature furniture, vehicles, fantasy space ships, Christmas decorations such as Santa-shaped candy containers and a host of other things.
