New model spotted today: Hallmark Ornaments "Culver Cadet" in cream/red, "Sky's the Limit" series, complete with wing ribs.
I have never heard of a Culver Cadet before, and certainly no toy model was ever made of this plane back in those days - or was it? Experts?

I think you are right, I do not recall seeing any toy of the Cadet. I did remember hearing about the aircraft so I looked it up
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culver_CadetIt was used as a target drone in the service after a very short production run as a civilian aircraft. Of importance, I discovered that Al Mooney designed it. He would later design and manufacture the very fast and efficient series of Mooneys, well regarded by those who flew them.
