Here are my Diverse Images Me-262's. The white 8 is 1:144 and the other 2 are 1:72. I don't have a photo of the white 3 (1:72).

They are very well made but pricey.

So...tell us about them, please.
Who is Diverse Images?
Are these metal or plastic? Do they come assembled? Are there more aircraft in the line? Is it a line? Still available?
How are they packaged.
You say they are expensive...how expensive?

Ha! Hardly a mass producer using base metals.

Diverse Images is a UK producer of limited edition diecast planes in 1:72 and 1:144 scale using high quality pewter. Lots of RAF but plenty of Luftwaffe.

I paid between $150-200 for the 1:72 Me-262's. They have a fairly broad offering and do some models that aren't widely made (ex: Me163).

The Me-262 white 3 has a limited production run of 25.

The packaging is designed to protect the model in shipping. It's basically a cardboard box so it obviously isn't designed for display.

Yes, Michael, they are hardly a mass volume producer.

But the Topic is "Diecast Models - Modern" not "Diecast Models - Modern Mass Volume Producers" after all.

They're gorgeous, as they should be! I like these much more than all those Danbury and Franklin Mint Pewter collectibles; they were in the metal finish.
Regarding DF, I was just remarking that they are at the other far end of the toy airplane industry. Not mass produced, not using low cost materials, not widely distributed.
I had never even heard of them!
But...I'm glad they're still making these nice models in the best UK tradition.
Thanks for posting...
