Here is a DeHavilland Comet made in Japan by Masudaya in the 50s. It has a wing span of 12 inches.

Masudaya also made a smaller Comet.

Note the cartoon "comets" lithographed on the sides and the commonly-found feature of sparkling engines. They are cute toys, don't you think? :)

As usual - they're gorgeous! I love all the speed flames on the engine intakes!
