Does anybody happen to know what the chances are probably in future of either Matchbox Skybusters, Maisto Tailwinds, Corgi Toys or somebody else releasing a miniature version or an RAF Nimrod MR.2?

Good suggestion Aeronaut if they can release it to that scale then no doubt a version in the really small scale like the old Corgi Showcase Collection size might not be that far off - that version is just a little bigger and a little more expensive than what I was meaning.

I agree with you, Striker, on the size and cost thing. What I am looking for are B-36s in the "wish" category. I'm always surprised that they are overlooked; at the same time it will be an expensive model to make!
Several years ago I picked up a gorgeous 1/500 Aeroclassics Hughes HK-1; I thought similar classics might follow, but, no...
I'd like to see one in the Postage Stamp line, or a Corgi Showcase would be good - although those are hard to find in the US.
I was surprised to see the Aeroclassics piece, so I won't abandon hope that one of the 1/400/500 makers will bring one out in time.

After my comments I contacted Aeroclassics to see if there might be a B-36 in the pipeline and was told, no, there was not.
Lots of B52s, B1s, many WWII bombers...others of note missing would be the B-47 and B-58.
