SZE Toys

The two different jets are smaller than Dyna-Flites and very unrealistic. But you have got to love a four-holer in Piedmont livery ! ! ! ! !

Those last two are the same issues as put out by Ja-Ru. If you like the Piedmont you will luv the VC-10 in EAL colors. These are really awful little toys. Ja-Ru was a new start-up in North Carolina (IIRC) in the '90s (again, IIRC).
Little pieces of c**p (to coin a phrase) and I didn't persue them.
(These ERTL Jet Tran pieces are much, much better. We will not see their like again.)

The toy airliners' quality began going downhill in the 90s. The 2007 Sky-Buster 747-400 in Northwest colors is an exception; so are some of the Majorette 800 airport series from Portugal (2001) that appeared briefly at a pharmacy only once in 2001. The Majorette and Siku planes were nearly nonexistent in the US. The Maisto and Welly planes were OK but usually had fake liveries. Real Toy airliners' quality is nowhere near that of the firm's air force planes.

Real Toy is about the only action in the lower priced "toy" market for airliners. Since everyone needs a license from the airline these days, it's bumped up the prices into the 1/400 market at $35+. Hardly a toy.
Been going through stuff in the back and came across the Mandarin airliners...not quality work, but at the least the VC-10 says BOAC on it!
