I have about 1500 diecast and plastic replicas on display; of these about 1100 are aircraft models in every scale imaginable from 1:48th on down. This aggregation----the work of roughly 15 years------takes up the better portion of the wall space of three rooms, though these are also utilized for storage, a library of books, all sorts of supplies, picture taking set ups and my work area. About half of my warbirds, which are organized by country and era----WWI, WWI, Post-WWII-----are given favored treatment, being situated in eight large glass enclosed display cases which wrap around the walls of what was once a master bedroom. Here are situated my WWII U.S., German, Japanese and British birds, which are posed in the wheels-down and up mode---the latter on stands------to maximize the use of space.
