



Hahn suffered damage to his 109 during combat on the eastern front in feb 1943 and forced landed. he was captured by the russians and despite the hardships of soviet captivity never lost his forceful and recalcitrant personality. likely a reason why he was held until 1950
Hahn had a number of management positions in civilian life and died of natural causes in 1982.
an 'experten' credited with 108 kills, 68 were spitfires on the western front.
