Well I guess that has to be it! The bomb looks right in the Sears ad anyway, with the black tip. I don't recall my toy being nearly that ornate...my memory (Although granted, very vague on this particular piece), was all jet black, like an SR-71 or U-2, but glossy, without much in the way of markings, and really long slender wings like a B-52 or Russian Mya-4 Bison...
But you know what, Mom did a lot of shopping at Sears, many of the toys listed I had; Air Force One, Huey with flashing rotor tips, etc, plus this thing has the bomb that looks right, 1965-66 would be the correct time frame, so I say let's go with that!
Again Tony, thanks for your un-ending knowledge on the subject...I'm mainly a vintage model kit guy, but the tin toys hold such a special place in my heart for those youngest days, and just piecing together the knowledge of what I used to have, is a major push forward.
Also stumbled into another that I had here at the forum...sort of a C-141/C-5 hybrid with a hinged cream coloured plastic nose...was great to see that again! Also had this F-111 very early on, seen here in the '66 JC Penney Xmas Cat:

BTW, I sent a post to the group I operate:

I'm looking to obtain scans of the MARX Tigers & Slick CL-44 box tops, if you know anyone who might help. I will email back the sender a fully restored image suitable for printing and framing.
Thanks again.
