Tomiyama TWA Convair 880
From the 1962 Sears Christmas Catalog, here is model TP24, Tomiyama's Convair 880 in TWA colors ... note the box art looks like a 707.
The plastic jet engines have very intricate, but fragile, plastic exhausts.
In order for this plane to be a proper Convair 880 it would need the ridge along the top. This mold also made a DC-8 in various color combinations, and with opening front passenger door. Some examples also came with display stands.
The Tomiyama trade mark had changed from "E T Co" to a cartoon mouse head with big round ears. Yonezawa's "Cherry Y" logo no longer appeared on the toys nor on the boxes.
