Tootsietoy Scorpion Helicopter in two colors: purple and green. I have seen it in blue also.




This was an ultra-light of the late 70s. The toy has its rotor and lower portions made of yellow plastic.

Nice ID! What kind of packaging did these come in?
And there are plenty of Scorpions out there! ...still popular!

The Tootsietoy Scorpion helicopter came in a variety of colors that I've seen... at least two shades of purple as well as green, blue, orange and red.

It was released solo in a blister pack:



And, it was released in a variety of sets. I know of at least 5 different sets, and I'm pretty sure there are more.
