They were made from a composite which is hard but not plastic, the dealers and collectors in the UK referred to the material as dog shit. I assume some were made at the beginning of the war as they used non-strategic materials, but raw material shortages continued after the war so perhaps they were all post war. Certainly the B-29 would be a very late wartime addition to the line. Barry? Do you know anything about them?
Never expensive but nice novelty additions to a collection.
