The MAC site contains a number of helicopter toys that were produced in Eastern Bloc countries during the era of the Soviet Union. Many are copies of popular toys produced in the West at the time.

It is a bit surprising to me, but to date I haven not run across that many helicopter toys that were actually produced in the Soviet Union (U.S.S.R.) itself. I only have a few in my collection, but know of perhaps 4 or 5 others. I'm sure there are many more out there, but they must not appear in the market very frequently.

Here is the вертолет (Russian for helicopter) flying toy produced by Yunost of Leningrad:

Here's a great ad from Leningrad Metal Works that features the toy:

This is one is great! It's the only example I've ever seen. The toy is missing it's remote control. I wonder if a complete version will ever appear?

And here's a smaller toy, similar to the one Alas posted above. I think Alas refers to these as "tadpoles."

The rotor is not original. It may have had larger rotors made of a cardboard-like material, similar to those seen on a Warmet toy from Poland.
