this ancient one by Sankei must ahve been reproduced 1000000 times - without the plastic canopy of course

I never could figure out why the manufacturer put "S-54" on the litho.

These toys were definitely modeled after the Sikorsky S-51.

The Sikorsky S-54 (known as the "Skycrane") wasn't produced until well after this toy...
