Note that the Pan Am globe has five longitude lines above and below the title ... most toys have just four (which is accurate).

I love the punched-out "portholes."

Daiya (Terai) also released this toy in two other airline liveries that I know of: BOAC and Sabena.

Like most toy manufacturers, the company used this same design for some military toys as well. There is a hard-to-find U.S. Army Helicopter and a Army Transport Helicopter.

Interestingly, Daiya took the Army Transport Helicopter and blew up the scale for a variant in both a friction and battery-operated version. Most of the toys are just shy of 9 inches long, but the larger scale Army Transport Helicopters are nearly 15 inches long.
