Nice little BOAC helicopter from Daiya who made this in Pan Am and Sabena as well

Daiya also made a Vertol 107 Army Transport (in silver) and U.S Army Helicopter (in green) version of this toy.

Indeed, I have the silver version which I bought at the Birmingham Toy Fair a few years back. Photos from Ebay.com

I have never seen the green version

Check out this variant...

The box is clearly different, but what really sets it apart is its size.

Most of the Daiya toys in this line are a little under 9 inches long.

This one is over 14 inches long and is on a much larger scale.

There's a battery operated variant of this larger toy as well.

Thank you for posting. Another one I need for the collection.

Who would have thought that the Chinook would still be in combat 50 years later (I know its supposed to be a CH 46 but it looks like a CH47 to me)

The longevity of some helicopters is pretty amazing, but I guess you have to chalk that up to inherent limitations in design (at least in part)... It's hard to top some of these tried and true airframes.
