As a (small) collector of propliner models I always loved to collect related items like handling equipment, airport refuellers (bowsers) and so on.
So collecting items like the famous Budgie Toys (UK) below are an extra value to any collection... Show yours overhere

Not much in the way of airport ground service equipment...





Basically a couple Matchbox airport foamers, a lifting supply truck and a generic Tootsietoy tanker bought way back in 1979 at the neighbourhood 5¢ & 10¢ store.

Another classic; the Dinky Toys N°642 RAF bowser to refuel your military model planes on visit at RAF airfields.
Even old Matchbox had a small version of it.

Here are some airport service vehicles by Siku, Germany 1950-60s for their constant 1/250 scale series of all types of aircraft and buildings. Hard to find today.

My entire and complete mint in the box Siku airport and aircraft collection will be sold by Vectis UK starting in late April, be sure to check their actions if you want some of this series.

Yet another classic bowser: Dinky Toys (France) N°32C Panhard Esso Aviation. Regular at the Paris airports in the fifties.

I bought this 'Follow Me' vehicle at the Moscow airport in the 1980s

Though not nearly as intricate as the die-cast vehicles from Europe, the Tootsie Toy Co. and the Hubley Co. did manufacture various vehicles that could be adapted to those seen at an airport. The reason these were chosen were to compliment the larger toy airplanes that we produced here namely the Marx Large DC-4 and F-86 pressed steel airplanes and Hubley's famous 495. I have had a clients who have asked for these support vehicles and have posted some samples.

The famous Thompson aircraft refuelling tender by Dinky Toys:

another nice model still available today: Bedford QL RAF bowser made by 'King & Country', impressive scale 1:30. Also available in Normandy camo livery. Hobbymaster has produced the same vehicle in 1:72 scale.
