How Do You Display Your Collections?

In my case, about 50% of my models are in storage while the remaining pieces are mostly displayed on special shelves in one large room---a former master bedroom. Here are some pictures:

Thanks, GR. I have approximately 3500-4000 aircraft models, about half being diecast and the remainder plastic. I display roughly 1300 models at any given time and sometimes "retire" those that have been "overtaken" by more recent and/or superior renditions. In my case the numbers are misleading as I have many "extras" in both diecast and my own custom solid resin form, which are intended for repaints or the application of alternate schemes. I'm sure that I'll never get around to using many of these, however it's a comfort to know I have them.

.......some of us know a long time collector/dealer whose wife realized what her husband's collection was worth and said 'they go, I get half, then I go'. All of it is being sold on ebay.
