I thought I would post a link to a video of the Yonezawa American Airlines plane pictured (several posts) above because the action is so cool.
The stewardess closes the door and the little people fill the seats, the inboard engines start, then the outboard engines, the plane zooms around, slows down as the outboard engines stop, followed by the inboard engines and the stewardess opens the door.
The video is of my plane pictured above but was posted by the previous owner.

New addition. Nomura Helicopter with piston action.

There are two versions of the box that I know of for that Nomura (T.N.) U.S. Air Force 1517 helicopter. The helicopters have only slightly different rotors.

There is also a rare Canadian Air Force version of this toy, but I've only seen it once (without the original box). It brought big bucks.
