HESS Petroleum Co. Trucks that haul Aircraft
Posted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 10:21 pmThe 2010 Hess Truck has a jet fighter not unlike an F-22 or F-35 in appearance.
I do not have that toy model, but I do have three others that feature aircraft: a biplane, a helicopter, and best of all, a space shuttle.
The truck that carries the biplane has an appropriate streamlined 30s look to it.
The biplane itself has folding wings but it's not based on a real model!
I also have this helicopter in miniature.
The truck pulling the shuttle has a 1970s "cab over engine" design with a boxy cab. This also is appropriate, since the first shuttle was completed in 1977.
The shuttle has narrow wings, but the cargo bay opens and a satellite comes out ! ! !
