Help- Looking for Miniature Aircraft Set

Hello: I have been searching for an airplane playset I failed to get as a kid for over 30 years.I corresponded with G.Webster and he suggested that I post a note.
I saw the set in New York in the mid 1950's. It was in a very colorful box depicting a World War II bombing run. Inside the box were miniature plastic aircraft similar to "Lido Sky Warriors pictured in a post this past January by G. Webster about wall displays. Most people say this sounds like a Lido product but I'm not sure of the manufacturer. Any help[pictures/suggestions] would be greatly appreciated and if anyone had the item for sale I would pay top dollar.
Thanks so much for any help in advance.

Could it have been the Aurora model kit "12 o'clock High"? Small scale B-17s dropping a "string" of bombs over a diorama of a burnt out city?

Thanks for your response to my post. It was not a Auroa set . I have tried to attach pictures of what the box looked like[picture is that of a game from 1943 and not the box I'm looking for but the photo was similar] and the interior had small plastic airplanes [simiar to Lido's aces of the air]. The item was from 1950-1953. hope the attachments were posted correctly.

This is a Renwal boxed set but has similar graphics, perhaps, to what you remember from your childhood.
The planes inside are not small Lido-like ones but Renwal sized.

I hope this isn't the set you are looking for as it is the only one I have ever seen. This set is not mint by far as the box has issues in the corners as I recall. Renwal collectors in the USA are like Dinky collectors in the UK, they do not let much slip by.
They both collect entire ranges not just the vehicles or airplanes and consequently any items that appear are bid up.

Thanks for thinking of me Mr. Webster. The set I'm looking for definetly had Lido sized small plastic planes similar to Lido's Sky Warriors which you pictured in a previous post. I came across an ad for a framed copy of the box you mentioned. See attached.I could not send the ad photo as it was rejected as a possible attack vector ???
Regards,
Bob

This is a Framed Ad For Renwal's Plastic Fighter Bomber Planes. This is from the late 1940's to early 1950's. There is some water damage. Look at the pictures. It measures 16 3/4" X 12 1/8" Happy Collecting!!!!!!
