Haha! ...that's funny and sad in oh so many ways!
My notes say that Process Plastics produced a Fokker D8, although I have never seen one. Could it have meant DR-1?

I had the biplane when I was little - around 1968 or so.
I took it to the airport with me Sundays when I would watch the Convair 580s (and others).
I currently have this example, missing the pilot:
