I don't know much about metal Wikings. This said yours has I 5, not 15 {fifteen}, meaning Italy, 5th model in the series.
The quality looks a bit rough and thick for Wiking iIDs and could be a recast from the plastic one shown below, but, again, I know nothing about the metal ones.
Here is I-5 in original plastic

My initial thought on this is that someone with more enthusiasm than casting skill copied a wartime Wiking Caproni. However, I have several WWII types with very similar materials and workmanship, most were copied from the Eskader 1:200 aircraft used in Sweden during WWII, but I also have a 1:200 metal SAAB Lansen and Draken that are very similar and were definitely used in the Swedish Air Force. Another tidbit of possible relevance is that some Capronis were used in Sweden. We could speculate whether someone made some Wiking copies to represent those either for official or fun use. There is a very active 1:200 group in Sweden. Good guys and very helpful. I would take the sample there and see what they say. Eskader also still exists in downtown Stockholm.

Thats what I thought too.In the same lot there were 2 Reggiane 2000 in lead, one was marked J20 on the underside.J20 was the Swedish AF designation of the Reggiane.

Return to 1:200 scale aircraft. Both Military IDs and past or current makes.
