Here is my Topping model of the Avro Canada CF-100 prototype aircraft. Avro built two black-painted CF-100 prototypes, one of which unfortunately crashed on 5 April 1951 during testing taking the lives of the crew. This is a rare example of the Topping model built during that period.

I have included a newspaper photo of the head of Avro Canada, Crawford Gordon, Jr. (later of Avro Arrow fame) handling a similar model on his desk.
