L749A Western AL 1:72
Posted: Fri Sep 28, 2012 7:42 amNext one in the paint box: Triple tail Lockheed L749A based on a metal Super Constellation, Raise-Up (NL). I shortened the fuselage front & rear and welded the three parts together. The tail had already the shorter fins of the Connie (was never properly shaped by Raise-Up for the 1049). The nose was lengthened with alu radar cone. The engine cowlings of the A model are like the 1049. So it was an easy conversion
