Red outline on the insignia means it's 1943 and that looks like a B-17E...not a shark tailed C or D. I'll pose the ID to some of my Brit modeler buddies. Michael
This is what I got: Mike - I remember this line of kits from my teenage years, though I never made one. The reason: they were both crude and damned expensive. The price, 6/6, is about 40 cents in today's money - but it represented 1/12 of the average weekly wage in those days. I reckoned I could do better with balsa (scrap from the production of Mosquitos - balsa was plentiful in wartime). Bill
