GR,
Looking at the Mikesh Recognition Models article/list from Finescale Modeler (May/June 1984), the Argus appears to be the last one. Also supporting dates of 1961 are Delta Dart ((January), P3V-1 Orion (August), WF-2 Tracker (February), Etendard 4 (February), and the Mirage 3 (April).

Could you take a look at see who made it. I think it is one of the few SETCO ids.
My records indicate this but it is in its its orig box which I haven't seen in years and I didn't photograph it last trip.

Ah, the Argus..... I grew up near Moffett Field on the S.F. peninsula, and the Argus was an occasional visitor there to participate in ASW exercises. I acquired this 1/144th scale ID model in the early '80s, and painted it as the a/c (10712) that flew in for the 1980 air show at Moffett. It is a Mk. 1, with the large radome, and was based at Comox, B.C. It was retained at Comox upon the type's retirement, but languishes on a remote part of the base (as seen on Google Earth).
