An unusual ID in 1:144th scale

I haven't see any in this scale before. Some one has added the decals/transfers later or perhaps it was also issued as a desk model. Our resident ID expert, Byan Brown may know.

After a model of the B-36 Peacemaker was created in late 1951, the military realized that they had literally created a "monster". The model had a 38" wing span and was too large to be practical. A decision was made to change the scale of all models of aircraft having a wingspan greater than 200 feet. These, and there are about 3 dozen of them in the postwar series, were modeled in 1:144 scale, like the P5M Marlin pictured. These are 1/4 the size of the ID training models done in 1:72 scale. The model pictured is an unusual version, and it's not listed on Mikesh's list from the "FineScale Modeler" magazine article of May/June 1984. Nice find!
