I found an original metal Verkuyl CV-340 (1:72) at the Brussels Airline Convention for a fair price.
Under the silver paint the original black appears.
The same casting was used by Matthys Verkuyl in airline liveries. I saw once a KLM example.

I was lucky today I found an original metal Verkuyl CV-340 (1:72) at the Brussels Airline Convention for a fair price.
Under the silver paint the original black appears.

Nice find.
I have some Verkuyl ID that were issued in silver, here are some. I never looked to see if they were black underneath. Of course our friend Bernard could have sprayed them
