black, white, blue, polished metal. virtually all decals from scratch.
JG 74 adopted 'Molders' in the early 70's, but on the 61st anniversary of the bombing of Guernica in 1998, the Bundersparlament voted Condor Legion veterans could 'no longer be honoured' and his name was officially removed. 'Molders' missing from the Sqn insignia on the port side.

apologies if we're not permitted to post in this format. will change if required

Norri,

you are performing a fantastic job here. Also the BF-109 looks great. Please show us pictures as soon as it is finished!

It's great to see somebody recovering these great Dinky Toys back into such condition.

Waaaahnsinn!

Am I right, that you are using replacement canopies for the Phantom? I used them as well, but I am always bit dissatisfied, as they are little too small. Seems same here with the JG74 Phantom.

Do you have a favour for German planes? Me too!!! 8-)

Regards,
Chris

thanks for the feedback Chris. i was halfway through the Phantom and suddenly realised, no one on the site i normally post on has a clue about Werner Molders. so i restored a 109 and added a story, to give the JG 74 thread some meaning. only had a day to restore it, but since i already had the decals, thought it would be a sinch. then i stuffed up the mottling and had to do it all again. but managed to scrape accross the line in time. i'll post it shortly.

yes, the canopies are a pain, but its all we've got. i've done a few Luftwaffe post war anniversary liveries, from scratch. because they looked great and presented a challenge. i'll post them in due course.

post away, all your work is fascinating. I don't even have the Patience to super glue two pieces together, takes too long to set up.
