Hello!!
My name is Joaquín, and I write to you from Spain. My father brought me a DC 10 united, NOMURA hong kong made. Now I only conserve the main part of it, but without lights , two main engines, and back aleron, and gear....a big disaster. Searching and searching, after months, I finally saw one swiss air in your collection, into a forum, not a dc 10, but wings and lights are the same as mine.If there´s a possibility to buy it, I´ll pay the price, cause is very important for me being a present of my father when I was a Child.I´ll send you some photos of the rest of my plane if you want me to.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Joaquín Jiménez

Tony,

Absolutely great, absolutely superior photographs in colour of these classic tin aircraft.
I have three of the YONEZAWA 48TH scale REPUBLIC AVIATION F105D THUNDERCHIEF.
Of course, the real ones were UNITED STATES AIR FORCE.
Mine are all missing major parts (like the horizontal stabilizer). As you well point out,
they tried to make this into a NAVY JET FIGHTER with FOLDING WINGS for the AIRCRAFT CARRIER. I still think the
REPUBLIC AVIATION F105D is one of the finest jet fighters produced by YONEZAWA.

Your collection is one of the finest in the world, and you like to share your knowledge. Thanks,
Richard Starr

Hallo Tone....This little British made delta sold on ebayUK just now for £2.87 ($4.50?). Any ideas on make? (Closest type in the real world is perhaps the Avro 707C research plane of the 1950s)
