Hello,
Excellent job on this famous Dinky plane.
The restored Mats Connie is grounded in Japan. It was a gift to Japan Air Lines but they never kept it airworthy or even flew it.
One of the Mats propellers was used to fly the Dutch Constellation to Netherlands many years ago. This plane is also grounded in the Lelystad Aviodrome museum. Lucky we can still see the Swiss Connie in the air here in Europe.
John.

thanks John
not surprising. they must be a nightmare to keep airworthy and a veritable black hole in cash. how many man hours would it take to just remove, clean, gap and reinstall 144 spark plugs? reckon you'd need the equivalent income of a small but industrious nation to cover the running costs.
