one of the most prickly restorations i've attempted. the cherry rivets for the casting halves had to be ground down to fit. all the undercarriage legs are scratch built, but most difficult of all, the cheat line radius above the nose had to match the decals. which was murder to get in the right spot. leant a lot on this restoration, especially about metal polishing.

this is about as good as i could get it.

OH-LEA as it was in the original delivery scheme. as odd a livery as it is, it grows on you.

Finnair were not happy with their first Caravelle's hence the nickname, 'Hoyry Caravelle'..... steamdriven.
