Cardboard and paper model aircraft

During the 50s and 60s a popular way of collecting aircraft models was the cardboard model.
The very complicated cut out models are still made in Europe but Iam thinking more of the simpler models available either as books or cards which could either be cut or sometimes pressed out.
Nesquick milkshakes in the early 60s offered a range of nicely printed glider type cutouts which consisted of fuselage wings etc on one card. Ihad a white Victor bomber. Sadly few examples seem to survive.
Similar models were issued by BOAC of their airliners. Comics in Britain issued a VC 10 and TSR2.
Ithink these models deserve a mention though few survive.

I think these models were popular as cereal pemiums.

I have found some great images online of "Epinal ballons dirigeables" from the early 1900s, apparently pre-1910. They are early paper models, and they are intricate.
