One has to wonder if the individuals whom created the toys and the tooling to produce the vintage pressed steel airplanes ever took one off the line and had some fun on their own. Though these toy airplanes were never meant to be scale models , Wyandotte did achieve credible, recognizable renditions . With a just a little extra detail one could really have some fun. In that spirit comes two Wyandotte toy airplanes raised out of forgotten oblivion. The first is a Stratocrusier (B-377) and the second, a Super Mainliner (DC-4E). Both were found missing wheels, props, cowls and even landing gear. Given those baselines to begin with, their overhauls began..
